YouTube Shorts pipeline
A serverless pipeline that researches, writes, voices, renders and uploads a tech Short every six hours.
- Domain
- Autonomous pipelines
- Built with
- Python, GitHub Actions, OpenRouter

The problem
A daily Shorts channel means the same loop every day: find a topic, write a script, record a voiceover, find b-roll, render, upload.
How it works
- A GitHub Actions cron every six hours pulls trending AI stories from the Hacker News Algolia API.
- OpenRouter (DeepSeek V3.1) writes the script; edge-tts voices it with word-level timestamps.
- Stock visuals come from Unsplash and Pexels; HyperFrames renders the 9:16 video.
- The YouTube Data API uploads the finished Short with stored OAuth secrets.
Where it landed
Fully serverless at ₹0 a month in hosting, with roughly ₹0.01 of API spend per video.
